WATCH: Harris pushes Biden's record on busing, saying 'the federal government must step in'

California Sen. Kamala Harris pressed former Vice President Joe Biden on the issue of busing students of color to integrate schools in the 1970s, asking him if he agreed now that he had been wrong to oppose the policy. Biden clarified that he had opposed busing when ordered by the Department of Education. Harris, who said she had been part of the second class of students to integrate the schools of Berkeley, California, said that busing was one of the moments when the federal government must step in.
