Rep. Tulsi Gabbard calls Mayor Pete Buttigieg inexperienced in foreign policy and claims that Buttigieg said he would send troops to Mexico if he were president. “I think the most recent example of your inexperience in national security and foreign policy came from your recent careless statement about how you as president would be willing to send our troops to Mexico to fight the cartels,” said Gabbard.
Buttigieg replied, “I know that it’s par for the course in Washington to take remarks out of context, but that is outlandish, even by the standards of today’s politics.”
Opportunist Buttigieg went on the accuse Gabbard of “poor judgement” for meeting with Syria President Bashar al Assad in 2017, to which Gabbard replied with a devasating retort to the inexperienced Mayor of South Bend, Indiana.
