Trump administration's new rule targets legal immigrants who use food stamps
Trump administration has ruled that the U.S. could deny green cards to immigrants who use Medicaid, food stamps, housing vouchers or other forms of public assistance, a rule now going into effect. This is one of the country’s most aggressive moves to restrict legal immigration.
Acting director of United States Citizenship and Immigration Services Ken Cuccinelli made the announcement at the White House on Aug. 12. He said the country is looking for legal immigrants who are self-supporting, but this rule does not apply to asylum seekers.
Also, congress has now officially defined the term “public charge,” he said.

It's not really fair for people who had worked and contributed almost have of their paycheck to state and federal govt. and recieve monthly pension less than those people who never work at all and getting more SSI money, free medical, free housing and food stamps altho they are capable of working.Most of them the money they receive they use it for drugs, alcohol,and send it to their families outside the country.
Housing is so Xpensive in CA.
For foodstamps you need to br below Poverty Limit and have 20 Children.not to be American.just poor.very very poor or Homeless$=300.

Myths regarding illegal immigration have been debunked time & time again. They have & always will be, America’s scapegoat. Billions of dollars are put into SS because of them. There’s still not anything in this bill to protect a us citizen from fraud from an Immigrant that came to the states through marriage to a us citizen. That I-864 is literally a death sentence to who signs this petition. The rules are to vague concerning an immigrant playing the us citizen for a green card and then knowing we us citizens have no leg to stand on, they play and we citizens are now footing the bill for the free ride in our country and the us citizen is now supporting them for life and the us citizen are sleeping on the streets because of this unethical and immoral disadvantage.
