Lawmakers call it tax fairness. Phasing out the estate tax so they can raise the gas tax. Opponents argue it favors the rich who have estates. But everyone has cars.

And a $15 an hour minimum wage for municipal workers. Jersey City is the first to raise it. And the mayor claims it won’t cost taxpayers an extra dime.
