Trump Delivers Epic Easter Address… Libs Hate What He Slipped In

Easter weekend is meant to bring calm, quiet, and remembrance. And while President Obama was never really open about his Christian faith the Trump family has been. President Trump gave an Easter speech that will knock everyone’s socks off. We have been long waiting for a President who is proud to share his faith and Donald Trump certainly is.

The President started by discussing God’s presence throughout the history of time. He went into detail and described the Jewish celebration of Passover. It celebrates God’s deliverance of the Israelite people which was discussed in the Book of Exodus in the Bible. President Trump correlated it to the grave danger and challenges our country is currently facing.

During part of his speech he said,

“Down through the centuries, the Jewish people have lived through one persecution after another – and yet, they persevered and thrived and uplifted the world beyond measure. And now, the state of Israel stands as a monument to their faith and endurance.”

In his speaking of Israel and its relation to the holy weekend of Easter, the President is showing his support for Israel. Something that has been sorely lacking over the last eight years. Especially after the former administration stabbed our ally in the back by refusing to back them during a recent United Nations vote that stripped Israel of some of its sovereign lands.

The President thanked God for our many freedoms, most importantly and poignantly the freedom to worship. Which is after all what this holiday is all about.

He said,
“This Easter Sunday, Christians celebrate the resurrection of Christ and the promise of eternal salvation, It is a holy day of reverence and worship; it is a sacred time that fills the spirit of our nation with the faith of our people.”

This is a far cry from President Obamas 2015 Easter speech where he basically denounced Christians as unkind and unloving people saying,

“On Easter, I do reflect on the fact that, as a Christian, I am supposed to love, and I have to say that sometimes when I listen to less-than-loving expressions by Christians, I get concerned, but that’s a topic for another day. Lest we get on our high horse and think this is unique to some other place, remember that during the Crusades and the Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ.”
However, President Trump would never speak such absurdities about the country we call our own. During this somber occasion, he pointed to Christians who are still being persecuted during the twenty-first century. He said,

“On Palm Sunday, as Christians around the world celebrate the beginning of Holy Week, ISIS murdered at least 45 people and injured over 100 others at two Christian churches in Egypt. We condemn this barbaric attack. We mourn for those who lost loved ones. And we pray for the strength and wisdom to achieve a better tomorrow — one where good people of all faiths, Christians and Muslims and Jewish and Hindu, can follow their hearts and worship according to their conscience.”

President Trump made sure to let the American people know that the marginalized Christian community in the Middle East will no longer be forgotten. But they will have an ally in the United States, the greatest country on this planet. For that, they will be very grateful no doubt.

The President’s speech placed faith in the American people and hope for the new future to come. All with the help of Christ. Whom he implored everyone to trust implicitly. This strong foundation in faith is something that Americans are not used to in their Commander-in-Chief.

It is something that we can get used to very quickly. We dealt with a President for eight years who didn’t love his country or make us proud to be Christians. Instead, he tried to shame us for following our faith and subscribing to our religion. Now we do have the right person in the office and for that, we are lucky for choosing the right person.

The power of unity is indelible and nobody can break the bond that President Trump has created. During this Easter Holiday, he has made us proud as Americans.
